Sugaring 2011
All of a sudden spring is on the horizon and the sap is running. We have
about 250 taps in the trees and the buckets are already overflowing. It took
Becky and the kids plus a few neighbor friends over 3 hours to collect yes-
terday. We are looking forward to firing up the evaporator tomorrow.

Sap dripping into the buckets in the quiet woods is one of my very favorite sounds. ever.
