Sermon on the Mount 2009
On July 20 and 21, we were privileged to welcome back Lew Sterrett and
Sermon on the Mount. We estimate that 550 people attended the programs
over the two evenings. Our local cable TV station came out to video tape
the event again since it became their most requested program last year.
The first evening Lew broke a young horse named Mr. Buck using his stallion,
Spark. It was a powerful illustration of mentoring as Lew directed Spark with-
out a bridle. Mr. Buck resisted, but Spark was able to reach his “heart” and
Ryan was ultimately able to ride him around the arena.
