Let it Flow…
The farm is covered in mud and slush which means spring in on the way.
Last month we sold our old maple syrup evaporator and upgraded to a lar-
ger and more efficient set up that will increase production buy at least thir-
ty percent. While the Sugar Shack was empty, Larry leveled the floor with
sand and laid concrete silo staves to make it safer and more stable. We
called in the local muscle to unload the new evaporator and get it set in
place. Yesterday Larry, MJ, Gus and I put in 140 taps. The weather fore-
cast looks fantastic. Let the sap flow…
