Last Saturday, September 19, we partnered with our local church to offer the
second annual Hunter’s Field Day for our community. Families enjoyed a youth
archery range, a wrist rocket range, trap shooting, the DNR’s shooting simulator,
pumpkin painting and a delicious lunch provided by our church. Our pastor crea-
tively shared the Gospel, offering to give a young boy from the audience a brand
new Genesis bow if he could shoot a balloon off the target. The bow that he had
to use belonged to Jason, our local archery store owner. There was no way the
boy could even draw the bow back, so Jason stepped in and shot the balloon for
him. Because of Jason’s grace, the boy received the bow.
We pray that the message of the grace of Christ will make an impact in our com-
munity for eternity.
