Crossing Things off the Lists
Our long time friends, the Vorwerks, came to volunteer this week. The
whole family is talented and we love it when they come to help. Mike
and I made lists of what we hoped to accomplish while they were here.
The weather was absolutely horrible but somehow the guys managed
to finish their list before us, even taking breaks to go town for “parts”
(and cinnamon rolls). I didn’t take any pictures of their work - it was
essential, but not too exciting - like fixing brakes and lights on the ve-
hicles - but here are some pictures of some of our accomplishments
over the two days.
Sandy and I dyed yarn to sell at MACHE.
We had to get creative to find safe places to hang it to dry…
We sewed muslin bags to store the finished yarn.
Sandy designed and wove baskets to display our cards for the general store.
In spite of all that, the guys still won the 2011 “List Awards.” Great job, guys.
