On Saturday we had the privilege of hosting a mothers of preschoolers group
for a family Easter egg hunt. Their talented group leaders did a fantastic job
organizing the event that included crafts and a potluck lunch. There were
over 300 eggs scattered around the yard!

Last week the LTD from Camp Forest Springs came to visit. After writing
a philosophy of ministry of our own, it was a privilege to share with them
how God developed this ministry from those pieces of paper. We really
enjoyed your questions and enthusiasm!

LTD 2009.
Our stock dog friends gave Megan three newborn Cheviot lambs that
needed a lot of TLC. They spent the first week in the mud room living
in the wood box where she could keep an eye on them. They are
gaining weight and starting to thrive, even playing outside with their
guard dog and armed shepherd on warm afternoons.
Two years ago we had a lamb that got dehydrated. She spent a week in the
house while she gained her strength back. The kids named her “Baby.” She
got so tame that we took her to the nursing home and to our church’s youth
program. Megan won a photo contest with this picture at the Wisconsin
Sheep and Wool Festival in 2007. On Monday, Baby delivered her first baby.
The diapers are long gone but we got Gus to pose with the next generation.
