On Saturday we celebrated the marriage of Steven and Jessica. The list of
things to do to get a farm ready for a wedding is not short but we were so
excited to host the ceremony where God created a brand new family. The
weather was perfect. The bride was beautiful and the fellowship was sweet.
Congratulations Steve and Jessica! May God bless you as you serve Him together.
We were thrilled to host a group of veterans from Fort McCoy last week.
They served together and now gather for a reunion each year. They stay
in the barracks, cook for themselves and travel around the state to see the
sites. They came here for a stock dog demonstration through the Trempea-
leau County tours. They were so fun and fascinating we wished they could
have stayed all day.
Our Community Supported Agriculture garden share project is underway. Our
families picked up their first baskets last Tuesday. It is a unique opportunity to
share food and faith by praying for them as we work in the garden this summer.
We were very blessed to welcome John and Diane Windle and the Puppet Gang
back to Harvest Home Farm for their second annual Memorial Day Concert. We
have enjoyed John and Diane’s ministry since they had 8 track tapes. It is a high-
light of the year to host them here at HHF. We laughed and sang Scripture as the
puppets taught us about praise, faith and wisdom. Dudley’s worship song is my all
time favorite. I hope we sing it in heaven.
We picked up Molly on Sunday. She’s a purebred Jersey cow and Megan’s
new project. We now have fresh milk at our fingertips!
